About the position

To support the growth of Kartesia and its financial team (Trade Closing, Fund Controlling, Accounting), we are looking for a Loan Administrator. This position and its scope will lead to a potential evolution, given the growing activity of funds under management and the development of the Loan Management System and Data reporting.

Main tasks and responsibilities
- Input, monitor, and update the internal Loan Management System.
- Ensure the assets reconciliation (cash, interests & paydown).
- Review, update, and ensure the interests/revenues from the portfolio.
- Oversee the portfolios managed by our services providers and ensure reconciliation.
- Manage the loan process and its relevant reports, especially the review of notices and rollover agreements.
- Obtain the relevant loan documents (including tax compliance documentation) and resolve the related issues.
- Prepare and maintain the loan/admin worksheets for the different funds/investment vehicles and assist the team with the closings.
- Review the accuracy of the data provided to the Portfolio team.
- Ensure the Liaison with custodians and assist with audit confirmations.
- Participate and support ad-hoc projects with the dedicated teams (Trade closing, Accounting, Funds CFO and Portfolio Management).
Requirements
- Master’s degree in accounting, economics, or finance.
- 1.5 / 2 years’ experience in an oversight – reconciliation position (ideally in Asset Management / Bank) or a relevant experience in fund administration, depositary, or fund accounting. Experience / knowledge in Private Equity/Private Debt is an asset.
- Any experience on Collateralized Loan Obligations, Corporate Loan, Syndicated or Distressed loan is an asset.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office suite and especially Microsoft Excel
