Kartesia wins “Lender of the Year - Europe” at PDI 2024 Awards

Kartesia, the European specialist provider of capital solutions for small and mid-sized companies, is pleased to announce that it has been named “Lender of the Year – Europe” in the Private Debt Investor (PDI) 2024 Awards, announced on 3 March 2025. Winning “Lender of the Year” is testament to the hard work, dedication and expertise of the entire team at Kartesia.

These awards celebrate the managers, institutional investors and advisers that have made a significant impact on the private debt market in the past year, so it is an honour to be selected for one of the most prestigious awards, alongside other success stories in our industry. Thank you to the PDI judging panel for their selection.

2024 was another transformational year for Kartesia as it continues to support Europe’s thriving SME community. The team has expanded to around 115 employees, all of whom are dedicated to serving a broad range of European markets, which includes a rapidly growing business in Italy. It was also a standout year for dealmaking – Kartesia closed 29 transactions last year, making it one of the busiest for deployment of capital. Finally, the firm closed one of its largest ever funds, with Kartesia Senior Opportunities II raising 1.8 billion euros.
