Louis Douady is the Investment Director – Aerospace of Kartesia Asset Finance. He leads the fund’s investment activities in sustainable tangible asset finance, with a particular focus on the aerospace sector. Prior to joining Kartesia, Louis was an Asset Allocation Strategist at Loomis Sayles, where he was responsible for private debt strategies.

 

Before that, Louis was Global Head of Corporate Social Responsibility of Natixis banking group and a member of its Executive Committee. Previously, he spent 17 years in aviation finance at Natixis where he held senior origination roles in Europe, established and led the Asia-Pacific aviation team, and subsequently served as Head of Aviation for the Americas. In these roles, he provided debt and capital-markets solutions to aircraft manufacturers, airlines and leasing companies.

 

Louis began his career at BNP Paribas, where he held several positions in Risk, Audit and the General Inspection.

 

Louis holds an MSc in Management from ESCP Business School with a specialization in Finance.
