Kartesia, the European specialist provider of financing solutions for small and mid-sized companies, is pleased to announce that it provided a Unitranche add-on financing to support its portfolio company Stelogy (the “Group”) in its acquisition of Micro-Info-Expert (“MIE”). This follows Kartesia’s previous support to the Group for the buyout of VOIP Telecom in September 2023 and the acquisition of Ordago, an independent B2B telecom operator focused on home support personal care services, in November 2023.

On 17th September, 2024, Stelogy acquired MIE, an IT service operator specialized in various dynamic healthcare verticals (dentists, orthodontists, ophthalmologists and other medical professionals) with a sizeable and diversified portfolio of ca. 1,000 customers. MIE offers comprehensive IT services encompassing the deployment of tailored IT environment solutions and medical data hosting, daily maintenance and  multi-services assistance, as well as recently developed high value-added services such as the audit of clients’ IT infrastructure and on-site training notably on GDPR.

This acquisition is an attractive opportunity for Stelogy to strengthen and diversify its IT expertises (critical data hosting, cyber / GDPR…), while creating an end-to-end one-stop-shop offering tailored to the dynamic and resilient healthcare end-market; which had already started through the acquisition of Ordago. This acquisition is expected to enhance value and business performance through (i) strong commercial synergies between both companies thanks to their complementarities in terms of end-markets, services and geographical coverage; (ii) MIE’s scalable business model leveraging Stelogy’s nationwide footprint; and (iii) economies of scale.

Kartesia arranged a Unitranche add-on financing to support this operation through its investment strategy “Kartesia Credit Opportunities” (KCO V and KCO VI). The team working on this transaction includes Damien Scaillierez, Charles-Henri Clappier, Alexis Midol and Marie Mayau.

Charles-Henri Clappier, Partner, Head of KSO France and Business Development at Kartesia: “We are thrilled to support Stelogy in this new  acquistion. We are confident that expanding Stelogy’s integration capabilities into dynamic and defensive niche verticals will drive the Group’s growth trajectory even further.”
